only two hours til kickoff (why's the font so big???) but how doesn't New York win here? No absent players and great home record vs piss poor portland that hasn't won on the road. Portland pratically lost to TFC....new york -1 at -110 seems logical but i dislike MLS quite a bit. Any thoughts out there? no official bet for me but willing to bet it if someone tells me to

I took this match earlier this afternoon. I'm ahead 10+ units this weekend so I played just 1 unit but I agree with you the Red Bulls are rested and ready for the last stretch of the season. If NY approach this game in a focused manner and don't take Portland for grant it, they should be able to outplay them and win handily.

3-0 Red Bulls IMHO

Up until their last match when they scored 2 goals on Toronto, Portland had only scored two away goals all season.

They are the worst road team with 4 goals scored and 22 allowed.

The numbers add up now it's up to NY to get the job done.

rbny are my biggest bet of the week....got 'em in parlays and a bit on -1 goal. portland have played away 2x this year after a midweek match and lost them 3-0 and 5-0. today they're putting dike up front instead of boyd and dike was playing for la blues in the USL league just a few weeks ago. red bulls really well rested and word is practiced very hard this week as they have a history of overlooking bad teams. best home team vs worst away team....red bulls should cruise to a very easy home win. cahill starting with letoux, lindpere, and henry. cooper will come off bench against his former team. could be a beatdown

WOW!!!

Red Bull obviously looking ahead to Sporting KC next week.

Happens to everyone. I wish I saw this coming but even the best teams can't focus on the task at hand.

2-2 now and 2nd half still to play but this tells me alot about NYRB. Can't be trusted.

not exactly the game i imagined... I think we capped the game right in the end just but as Aruk/rolltide said Red Bulls probably overlooked them at the beginning of the match. sneaked a push and on to another day

i generally never take a road team in the mls esp vs one of the better clubs. Lots of time to decide that though...i usually take 2-3 MLS plays a year so i have to pace myself.

typical red bulls performance. such a strange team but when they play inferior squads they decide to play no defense and think they'll win 4-2 every time. nice saves on breaks by Bill Gaudette or would have been a catastrophe. Roy Miller should never see the field again for a MLS team...such a liability at left back. glad Backe pulled his ass after the giveaway for 2nd goal.

they will be major contender once Tainio is back at holding mf and if rafa ever returns to central defense which will allow cahill to play more attacking role and not sitting back in defensive mf. henry is in a major funk right now...
